Joyce Moyer
Involved in virtually all aspects of the breed, Joyce Moyer has been a member of TWHBEA since 1988 and lifetime member of TWHBEA since 1998. She was first elected to the board of directors in 1994 and is currently serving her fifth term as a representative from Ohio. She is a past Member At Large Youth and this will be her second nonconsecutive term as Marketing Vice President. Over the years, she has served on the Breeders, Youth, Pleasure, Marketing, Administrative/Fiscal/Audit, and By Laws committees.
Always looking to promote her breed of choice, Joyce has represented the breed at a variety of events, including Best Of America By Horseback trail rides, TSC open houses and Equine Affaire Ohio. Additionally, Joyce and her husband Terry host Genius Day, an annual promotional event for Tennessee Walking Horses held at the Moyer’s farm in Ohio.
Joyce has operated a major accounting service for 37 years, she is a part-time business instructor at Bowling Green State University and she frequently hosts “Hobby vs. Business” tax seminars. She has owned and operated Maple Crest Farms in Castalia, Ohio, for 24 years.
